Thought to myself last night..
I've done alot of stuff in my life to lead up to this very stale, or what feels like a very stagnant part of my life. It all pretty much started after I left Universal Studios, everything feels like it's going in babysteps, downhill babysteps.
I try to make the best of life, I enjoy my friends, my job for the most part. I make the best out of everyday as anyone should. But as for the story in general, I'm not happy with it.
I'm still single at 27, probably for the reason of my pickiness among people. The fact that I just don't trust anyone to hold the other half of my life in their clutches to cherish is a bad thing and a good thing. A good thing in that I hold my life dearly important to myself, so I really am not too fond of just letting anyone -in- my life to mishapen it, or even destroy it. After seeing all the whiney and ignorant lives around me from countless hundreds of people and the countless people who divorce, date, argue, and become unhappy. It just seems all ridiculous that so many people of what seems like an 80% majority exist around you, and then the 20% of folks who actually GET life and living are a needle in a haystack.
But that's how picky I am, if that doesn't give you a good idea. :P That's the bad part.
Because on top of all these things, our personalities and desires would have to click, which automatically drops that 20% down to 10%.
So, in my head, there are 10% of people in the world that would click with me. How much suck is that? :D
The last thing I want in life would be to partake in my already difficult life with someone else making it more difficult. But at the same time, I do imagine that clicking with the right person could change everything and untie a knot that exists and we'd both end up happily ever after. :P Yay fairy tales.
But yeah... I just desire change, but that's how I am. Some people are content with going to work, eat, come home, sleep. And doing the same ordinary shit day in and day out. I am not.. and while I kinda have to do it because that's just where I'm at in life right now with limited money, well, there ya go. I just hope something will break soon.
Auditions are coming up for Horror Nights on the 14th of this month. Hopefully something comes of it. They haven't had auditions for Animated Characters for about 7 months now, and when they do.. my butt will be there for sure.
Love and live life to the fullest!! :D
You know a movie I'd really love to watch and still haven't seen, "One Hour Photo" with Robin Williams. :)

Well Anthrocon's on the verge of kicking off. :P Good stuff, I really wanted to make it this year, but it seems like every year I've been trying to go, something comes up, and I'm not making the steady money flow needed to get me there and back, all the while staying comfortable from taking days off. What better way to spend the 4th of July tho.. Have fun whomever is goin!
So who's going to Megaplex this year? I haven't been able to attend a con in forever, and only because Megaplex is so close is the reason I get to go!
I'll be there all weekend!

So I did get the import (english) version of Afrika, and I'm only at the beginning with a decent.. but still crap camera. It's amazing how the cameras really do work like their real life makes. You can go in and change everything like Exposure, Aperture, Shutter Speed, etc etc. It's all kinda confusing and I only have a beginner's camera. But I'm learning.
Started off with a completely automatic TSETSE (type F) 18-55mm camera, which was ass.. and then upgraded to a SONY (of course all the cameras are SONY) DT 18-70mm F3.5-5.6
And so far from what I see, the cameras do everything wrong that a real camera can do if you don't work it properly.. from photos turning out too dark, too bright, blurry. You have to press the button halfway to autofocus of course. You can turn autofocus off if you like. There's all kinds of lil things to play with to take that perfect picture. They try to teach you how to use blurring effects to give your pictures 'personality' and all that good stuff.
You can actually turn the PS3 controller sideways to take a portrait shot.
So yeah.. all the technicals are there. I took a few shots and uploaded them here. The two zebra ones were completely accidental. :P Haven't really encountered the more dangerous animals yet.. Did see a cheetah kill a gazelle though, and I had to take pics while riding alongside it at 60mph in the jeep, and it's pretty thrilling taking pictures of THAT while in the background you are listening to what sounds like music from the Wildabeest Rampage scene from Lion King. :P While I got pictures of that, they were ALL blurry because I forgot to set the Shutter-Speed to snap proper pictures of an animal running at full speed.
Enjoy. I put more up later when I get better photos! So far I'm seeing that there are about 55+ different animals to photograph in the whole game, including birds.
EDIT: Oh just so you know too, that these pictures don't come right away. This game could be boring for alot of people because you have to actually wait, IN THE RIGHT spot, for animals to walk in your direction, or where you think they'll go to start eating or drinking, what bush they might walk past, etc. so that you get good close-up shots while in hiding. Otherwise, all the types of photos you will earn are far away shots unless you have a high end camera, which I don't have yet. So I can only rely on them to walk right past the bush or tree I'm sitting in for right now.
I know later on you get those lil remote control RC cars with cameras on'em to get close to certain animals. Who knows what else. :3
As for missions, you'll get stuff like..
*We need a picture of the black spots on a Topi's legs, so we need a good side-view shot.
*We need you to take a good close-up shot of the zebra's face from the front so that we can study bla bla.
*Take a pictuire of a hippo while yawning.
*We need you to get an aggressive shot of a bull African Buffalo, as close as you can.
The game actually calculates everything too, like whether you are too far away, or you took a picture from the side but it wasn't EXACTLY good enough a side view, angles... whether shrubbery is in the way and ruining the picture. It's pretty amazing, and these are only requests from the beginning of the game.. I'm sure it gets alot more difficult and demanding later on what types of pictures they want.

Was looking around at games on gamespot when I came across "AFRIKA" *PS3 Exclusive* by accident. An African Safari Adventure game where you get to go around photographing animals.. mostly like Pokemon Snap.
You work as a photographer for National Geographic, and they let you know what kind of photos they want. You start out with a pretty shitty camera, and, of course... as you get good, you earn money and the abiltiy to buy new and better cameras, lenses, and equipment.
Unfortunately, this game is only sold in Japan. But fortunately enough, there is a Korean / English imported title (there's a chinese one too but it's more expensive for some reason). And after much study and review I found out that the game has no spoken lines of dialogue from the few people you encounter in the game.. everything is all text. Guess they saved all the sounds for the music and animals.
Oddly enough as well, the exclusive Japan title was "AFRIKA" while the English / Chinese / Korean versions are called "Hakuna Matata". No joke.
Anyhow, this may not speak for much, upon me describing it.. it's the accuracy and breathtaking visuals that sell the experience. Take a look. (the second one has yenas!)

(Definately watch in HD if your computer/connection can handle it)
If you'd like to buy the game.. get the Korean/English version, it's only 30 bucks.
After watching reviews and seeing some of the text myself, the game is fully English and not some half-assed translation.. so it's perfectly safe.
If you enjoy Photography, and/or enjoyed Pokemon Snap back in the day.. you should get a kick out of this one.

TidBit: Also, all the music in the trailers will be featured in the game, and the composer Wataru Hokoyama was awarded Best Original Video Game Score by The Hollywood Music Awards 2008. They say, "Hokoyama has left a strong impression with the wonderful music he has composed. This is a soundtrack you cannot pass up."

Been playing the Beta AA3 for the past couple days and while it's still laggy and pretty buggy at times.. I think the whole concept is gonna work fantastically.
I mean, how often to these games come out where you expect everyone to actually work in a group online as a squad or even just as a pair of two soldiers. It never happens unless you somehow manage to get your friends together and play with you.
I mean Battlefield 2 was fun.. but it was never really enjoyed the most unless I played with Volkl and his buds.. or other buds that I managed to find.
But, I've been playing AA3.. and they've taken away as many benefits as possible toward playing by yourself and RAMBOing it through a mission. You get less points for working alone and your HONOR doesn't build up as quickly. You can't jump anymore.. which eliminates bunnyhopping (so annoying when people did that). So now, in order to get over obstacles or maneuver over something.. you hit the action button.
They give you a tiny radar so that you can see where each squad is located, (each squad being color coded on the radar, as well as the objectives).
I don't know if they had added a mic feature before, but for the first time ever in about 3 games in a row.. I didn't hear cussing. I didn't hear childish 12 year olds. I didn't hear mindless crap. I mean I know this probably won't last long.. but what I did hear was people working together, answering questions, giving locations, and working together. I was like.. "What's going on?"
Haha.. I'm sure this probably has to do with the fact that the BETA was at first, hard to get to.. and was closed off for abit. So people weren't willing to download it, and then go through all the training. (they have upped the difficulty abit on the training in order to get EXPERT stat on most things.
All the maps and the training have been torn down, and re-modeled and situated from the ground up.. it all looks new, pretty much.
The gun ballistics, the physics, the sound effects, and the character models.. all re-done and re-detailed. Everything seems to have been re-built for the most part.
Except for the lagginess of the servers... The game, once it gets back on its feet properly, will be awesome. I think it's a great experience and an efficient tool for the Army.
I'm not joining anytime soon. But for what it's worth.. America's Army 3 has definately become a title that would've been worth $50 as a game alone. But, it's still free!!!
Go download it off of STEAM. (They let you pre-load the game as it's still in BETA stages, but is scheduled to come out on the 17th as an official release.)

Well, I've been rather busy and rather not lately.
I've crept back into partying alot. Seems like for the past 7 or 8 weekends, I've partied or went out on some event and hung out with folks. This is all good and well. But it's taken a nice chunk out of my wallet.
I miss going out all the time, and I won't say I didn't have a blast, because I have been. I just need to take it easy I guess for abit.
----------------
Ghostbusters: The Video Game... okay. I don't even have to say much about it as I'm sure most of you who grew up in the 80s and are now in their 20s or 30s have at least HEARD about it. Written by Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd, this is basically as close as we are going to get to a 3rd movie with the boys in grey. Voiced by the respective actors with return of Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz and others, ...it's gonna be awesome.
Most people automatically go, "oh no.. another video game based from a movie, it's gonna fuckin' suck balls." Well, seems like I was wrong as it seems to be doing pretty well based upon a couple of just released reviews. Check it out at IGN: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/992/992635p 1.html (PS3/Xbox360)
Click the video in the review to check out the Opening sequence.. fuckin' awesome nostalgia.
Anyways, yeah.. I remember way back playing the relatively well done Genesis Ghostbusters and had so much fun with playing it right after watching a movie or cartoon of the same name. Now FINALLY, 25th Anniversary of the first film, we get to be a Ghostbuster alongside the main four.
So, pick it up damnit.. it comes out on the 16th (Tuesday).

I like how I'm sectioning up my entries here.. how gay.
Anyways, I'm 27 years old now.. oh my fucking god. Where has time gone? I still remember climbing on AOL chats and playing a fox in the oh so creative different rooms they had, "Rhydin Vampire Bar", "Anthro Forest Lake", "Caotix Tavern". Great stuff.. Back in the highschool days... Now I'm just a stressed out moron trying to barely make it in life, surrounded by a shit society with people I despise moreover than admire or would/could be inspired by. S'great ain't it? I love life. :)
One thing I really do miss though is having a best friend. I think I lost that when I left North Carolina. Even though I still keep in contact with this friend.. he has definately moved on. Thankfully he's still exactly the same personality wise.. but he's had 2 babies, and gotten married.
Here I am single at 27, ......thank god.
But I am happy with myself personally, like, self-image wise. I still have a good body and between work, the gym, and what I eat, I am still keeping myself pretty much healthy. I rarely drink coke anymore and try to keep to juices and nutrient drinks. I'm looking forward to doing Halloween Horror Nights this year, so, I'm gonna attempt at becoming somewhat more toned by then so they have another reason to use me, reguardless of what Haunted House they'd stick me in.
For sure, if they stuck me out on the streets with no shirt and nothing but blood and gore makeup on my chest & stomach.. I'd feel good about it at least. :P

So I went to Universal this past Sunday with some friends.. and it's been quite awhile since I made a stop in there to play in the parks after leaving the great profession of performing characters. :P Har.
Well, before we even get through the gate, we visit Curious George. George gives me the biggest hug and then jumps into my arms latching both monkey feet around me while proceeding to tell me (whisper) whom it is. I was like "Aww!"
Good to know that after 2 years of absence, I'm still remembered. Makes me want to go back. I'm still trying. Gonna give another go at Halloween Horror Nights this year and see if anything comes of it.
I'll show a goofy pic of me & George later when I can get access to it. It's on a friend's camera. Awesome weekend.

Even though I showed up kinda late.. it was awesome getting to see everyone again and dancing. I needed the break for sure. I had a great time.
Was surprised at some of the folks that actually showed up!!
Ferian!!! It was nice to finally get to meet ya, if not for only 20 mins. But it was a happy 20 mins. :)
This just makes me look forward to Megaplex a whole lot more.

Gaming again...
I went and played through Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit) again, and man. That game has some great writing to it. I really enjoyed the story, which could easily have been written as a book.
Americas Army 3.0 comes out soon, looking forward to possibly getting back into that again if it's as they describe it in the videos. I think that's the ONLY FPS game that I could really get into tactically and play for hours on end... with a favorite gamer buddy of mine, Volkl (EgoEris), I think that biatch has been the best gamer bud I've ever had in history of gaming because we click so well on the playing field and have fun with it.
We've even toked up in-game and shot several men in the cloud of grass-gas... it's the best.
Anyways.. has anyone ever played Silent Hill Homecoming? I really wanted to try that out until I heard people complain about the fighting system. I'm all about story, characters, and writing more over than gameplay.. so.. someone let me know how it is! I'm back in Horror mode again.

Heavy Rain seems to show off more of a 'handle' of what developers are finally learning to do with the PS3's capability. Usually in games, the details on small items are 'cheated' on.. and the textures are blurred out because, for the player, it's not that important.
Details and lighting are becoming a big thing and soon in the years to come, I'm sure when a game comes out with things that aren't detailed as much as the main characters or main items of the game, it'll be criticized.
Heavy Rain wants to capture captivating story and make the player experience a wide variety of emotions. This demo scene that they did for the game is quite amazing. Everything is in-game real-time. Look at all the detail.

Yay, so... I finally got my motorcycle tires, and wouldn't ya know it, I get to have them installed when there's gonna be a constant barrage of rainstorms through the next 10 days. :P
Fantastic.
Gonna have them put on tomorrow, and yay for having greasy new tires in the wet. Go me. Hopefully I don't kill myself breaking them in, or the lack thereof, considering I don't think water is going do very well in scuffing up the tires, or heating them up in general. Blah.

Feeling the slight after effects of a party from tonight. I'm half in dreamland while still awake, I need some serious fursuit hugs right now, can't sleep.
I love that when I drink enough (usually by drinking shots and not beers), I get into such a state of euphoria where I want to cuddle, my skin gets really tender, and my mind is in dreamland .. so ya, fur becomes AMAZING to feel. Fursuits definately become an experience.
Sometimes I really wonder what it would be like to experience "MDMA" once. :P
As for life on life. Same old shit everyday. My birthday's coming up again on the 29th. Big whoop. I ended up buying the "Pirelli Diablo Corsa III" tires for my motorcycle, seemed like the best choice for my bike. :D I can't wait to get those.
Actually found a motorcycle specific Fuel System Cleaner for motorcycles by Red Line and have heard nothing but great reviews about their stuff, so.. yay for cleaning out my bike's lungs. :P
I'm working somewhat steadily now than I was before (what a nightmare), FINALLY, and am trying to fight to keep it this way.

Well, I did pick up alittle something to tide over my boring days.
While in the middle of going through Metal Gear Solid 4 again, I decideed to pick up alittle something on the side since I heard mention of it, looked at it, wasn't impressed.. UNTIL I finally got to sit down and play it first hand.
Saints Row 2 is absolutely amazing.
I can't explain how skeptical for many months I was of SR2. A crap clone of GTA4 is what I thought of it. Even after their trailers which poked fun at GTA4 and repeatedly claimed they weren't some little sister ripoff, I was still skeptical of spending the money.
Well, I stopped by Gamestop and got a great deal on it and after many discounts, and trading, I got it for $20.
Now when I sat down with GTAIV, I probably played around and didn't activate the first mission for 2 hours tops. I love to run around and beat people up for abit and get grips with the controls and the environment etc..
Well with SR2, I sat for almost 4 and a half hours and played around. And I would have played more if I didn't have to go to bed. I didn't even touch the first mission.
There was such a vast amount of vehicles, props, and things to do that I didn't get bored. This isn't including the fact that most of the vehicles (once you get a garage), can be upgraded and personalized. Rims, wheels, paint jobs, tints, nitrous, and more.
The cars react differently too with SR2's damage system, which I thought was kinda neat. And I think the motorcycles are alot more enjoyable to ride around than in GTAIV.
And nothing beats taking a pedestrians hostage. and then throwing them into mailboxes, over bridges, off cliffs, into traffic, WOOOO!
The cutscenes are amazing and feature Hollywood voices such as Daniel Dae Kim, Eliza Dushku, Michael Dorn, Jaime Pressly, Phil LaMarr, and even Neil Patrick Harris
I've only touched abit of the game and am already having major fun with it. It's not taking itself serious like GTAIV, but remember folks, the GTA series used to be just like Saints Row 2 when it first gained popularity back in the day, overtime it's gotten more "Realistic" and "Serious", while SR2 kinda keeps that whackiness that GTA used to have when it first started.
GO pick it up!! You won't be sorry! Very fun game. Lots of shit ta'do.

Here's the jacket I want! Someone buy it for me! Make a donation to hyenafur (at) gmail.com RIGHT NOW!!
Nah, but seriously. I may be losing my car soon (oh woe is me), and the bike will become primary vehicle (I'm adjusting to it). so now I've been looking for a great all season / all weather jacket that's not too expensive and provides above moderate protection, and out of many comparisons and brand studies. This one is the best choice. They sell it on Amazon.com for around $229. Loving it, and I can't wait till I can afford to pick it up. Rawr.
I went over to my local power sports and they had the jacket, I wanted to try it on to be sure about it and see it for myself. And wow, amazing jacket, fits well, and the liners were amazingly comfortable. Gonna get it in Black.

So, my bike's problem with the whole neutral light thing was indeed, the neutral safety switch.
I took the bike to the dealer and they popped the wire off the switch and grounded it, and after it was grounded, it worked perfectly and properly. So, they are gonna replace all that ($0) no cost to me. W00T! So, that's a relief that it wasn't something gearbox related, or serious.
This problem was probably the result of the drop that occurred when the garage gate decided to clothesline me.

So, I was practicing today in the parking lot behind my development, nice big, empty lot. I found out a strange way to perform very sharp U-turns with no clutch play, no brakes.. the engine sits at idle in 1st gear and just rolls me along at normal idle speed.
Okay, so basically if I hold my right leg off the peg abit, and back kinda parallelish the exhaust, it balances the bike extremely tight to where I can lean the bike in a deep lean and steer the front tire full locked to the right and perform a great U-turn in just two parking spaces exactly. I thought it was extremely strange that this odd position was giving me a strong confident balance of the bike in such a turn.
So I continued by riding in a circle around a light pole and I could just hold it steady and go around the light pole again & again, tight as ever.. Greatest feeling ever to be turning so tightly with the bike leaned down like that, I was amazed.
Left U-turns was alittle bit more difficult, but the same thing, hold out the left leg off the peg alittle but still kinda against the bike, and boom... There was no butt shifting for counter balance, no clutch play, no braking. Just idly letting the engine carry me in the tightest U-turns ever.
It'll take some time to master it perfect, but that shouldn't take long.
I just find it strange, because I'd think that laying my leg out like that would cause more weight to be pushed down on the side of the bike, causing it to fall at such low speed, but nope..
The only thing I can guess is that I've found the perfect weight distribution between my body and the bike to where instead of using the clutch and the brake to hold myself upright at low speed, I am just using my weight in general to counter the bikes speed in the turn to where I don't need to use taught MSF methods.. (I hate saying that.. lol, because I always go by what they've told me)
Very odd, but man.. did it feel SUPER great to pull off such tight U-turns. You better bet I'll be out there practcing that for the next few days to perfect it.
Great stuff.

I have a nitpicky problem with my bike.
When I ride, the gears shift smoothly, which is good. But I noticed, that at standstill, or even at a light, my neutral light doesn't pop on, even though the bike is in neutral. Sometimes it will flicker. But it usually just stays off. It'll come on when I go to park the bike though, usually.. which is weird.
Along with that, when I first start my bike up in neutral, sometimes, if I rev it, it'll fall out of neutral and cutoff. Which is weird because the GEAR is still in neutral. A few times, when I start it in neutral, and then I sit down and pick the bike up off the kickstand it'll fall out of neutral and cutoff.
At first when it did this the very first time, I went and had my oil changed at 2000 miles from the last one. Didn't change anything.
Other than the neutral thing, the bike runs fine. I haven't noticed anything wonky with switching gears, or finding gears. It's just neutral being stupid.
I got about another 1300 to go before the bike needs another servicing at 7500m, so. Supposedly they could take care of it then. Just wondered if anyone could determine or give a fix to that kind of problem.
